Five Notorious Drug Peddlers arrested by Anti-Narcotics Wing CCB,Seized Synthetic Drugs Worth 8 lakhs in two seperate cases

The Anti-Narcotics wing of the CCB officials on Wednesday arrested five peddlers including a group of four college students peddling drugs in the city.The police also seize marijuana worth Rs 8 lakh from them.

The accused has been identified as,Shuhaib,Ajith,Alvin,Abin,and Mohammad Ranan.

Based on the information,team of officials raided a house in Yelahanka new town and arrested the accused.

The accused hailed from Kerala and studying in a reputed colleges in the city.The accused are addicted and also peddle drugs to their contacts , the police said.

The accused source the drugs from their contacts in Kerala and efforts are on to track down the supplier,a police officer said.

The police seized the mobile phones and an electronic weighing machine using which the accused would sell 10 grams of Marijuana for Rs. 500 .

In another case,the police arrested Mohammed Ranan,27,and recovered MDMA and charas worth Rs.6.5 lakh from him.

The accused hailed from Kerala and living in rented house in Hennur and peddle drugs.

The accused used to source the drugs from dark net and sell it to his clients for ranging from Rs. 10,000 per gram of MDMA crystals and Rs.1,000 per gram of charas to his clients.

Their main targets are IT BT employees and college students.

Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,Kamal Pant has appreciated Joint CP Crime,Raman Gupta,DCP Crime-1,Dr SD Sharanappa, and his whole team for the commendable job done by them in nabbing the five notorious drug peddlers four college students turned peddlers are now cooling their heels in jail a case under NDPS Act has been registered on the all the five and a suitable reward will be given to whole team for the exemplary work done by them he added.
