he Malleshwaram police investigating the assistant professor exam scam, questioned Registrar (Evaluation) of Karnataka university Dharwad who is allegedly linked to prime accused Soumya.
Dr H Nagaraja who had set Geography question paper for the exam,which was leaked an hour before the exam held on March 14 this year.
The police suspect that the Soumya who had the questioned before the exam on her mobile phone was sourced from him.
Meanwhile the police took Soumya to her house in Mysuru for investigations.
Soumya is working as guest lecturer in Mysuru had shared questioned with her friends on whatsapp.
Speaking to reporters,Higher Education Minister Dr C N Ashwath Narayan said,As soon as we received the complaint,we asked the KEA to file a police complaint.
Let the police conduct an inquiry.Whoever is involved in this will not be spared even if they are people of high profile he added.
