CCB raids hotel for organising late night party in luxurious hotel at Bengaluru

The Central Crime Branch (CCB ) officials raided a star hotel on Marathahalli Outer Ring Road on Friday night.

The CCB cops even detained, Venkatesh the Hotel owner, Parameshwar Rana,cashier,Daniel,and Shashank, party organisers,DJ Aman escaped.

Senior officer told reporters,Based on a tip-off, a team of police raided the hotel around 3.30 a.m. and detained 88 people, including 24 women and 64 men,who were guests of the party organised by a private person.

The police also detained the party organiser, and the manager of the hotel.However, the DJ managed to escape.

Tension prevailed as the women guests created a ruckus blaming the police for detaining them unnecessarily and alleged harassment.

The police clarified to them that the party is in violation of the Police Act and Excise Act for supplying liquor to the guests without valid licence,sources said.

The police subjected them to medical examination to ascertain whether they were under the influence of any banned items.

The HAL police have taken up a case and are investigating .
