Alert beat police of Madiwala reunited Pup to family in 8 hours,City based advocate booked under prevention to cruelty animals Act

The beat police of Madivala sub division have been entrusted with special task of finding two month old black colored stray pup which was allegedly shooed away from a resident of 3rd cross,5th block Koramangala after a fight with the caretaker .

Based on a complaint received from the caretaker,ACP,Sudir M Hegde,shared the picture of the pup with the beat policemen to lookout for the pup while on duty .

After searching for 8 hours the police received finally managed to trace the pup and reunited with the caretaker Joe Jecintha GnanaKumari Natarajan on Saturday.

The pup was later given it to a family to take care of the pup.

Meanwhile,Koramangala police registered an FIR against NH Ravishankar,city based advocate charging him under prevention of cruelty to animals Act and also under criminal intimidation against him.

Recalling the incident,Ms.Jecintha said that while she was on her evening walk found two pup near a restaurant hungry and suffering from injection.

She took the pup to her house and while nursing it outside her house,her neighbour took objection and allegedly abused and threatened her with dire consequences and even complained to the police accusing her of creating nuisance.

Unable to bear the harassment,Jecintha tied the pup to a near-by tree and went to station to file a complaint .

Upon her return she found the pup was missing and searched for few hours around the area in the night before approaching the police again.
