Commercial Street Rowdy-Sheeter Ameer Khan alias Pappu banished from city for 1 year

The East division police on Wednesday externed Amir Khan alias Pappu (36),son of notorious slain gangster of Shivajinagar, Koli Fayaz, from the city for a period of one year to maintain law and order in the city.

A rowdy sheeter of Commercial Street police station, Amir Khan became a part of the underworld in 2003, eight years after his father was killed by his opponents in 1995.

He was just 10 when his father was murdered. Fayaz’s protege Tanveer took Pappu under his wing and Pappu is involved in 22 cases including two murders,attempt to murder, robberies, extortion, kidnap, drug peddling, and other crimes.

As he is a habitual offender posing threat to the lives and property of the public, DCP (East) SD Sharanappa , has banished Pappu to Bengaluru Rural district, exercising the powers of Special Executive Magistrate.
