An Ola cab driver has reportedly filed a police complaint against Sandalwood actress Sanjjanaa Galrani
for allegedly abusing him during her ride from Indiranagar to Kengeri on Tuesday morning.
The actress had earlier tweeted about the issue alleging harassment against the driver and had raised the issue with the Ola cab services.
The actress who was earlier in the news in connection with the alleged drug case, was arrested by the CCB and sent to the central prison.
Following the allegations by the actress,the driver approached the RR Nagar police and filed a complaint against her stating that she was very abusive and he has the video of her behaviour.
He told the police that the cab was booked from Indiranagar to Kengeri but however during enroute,the actress changed the drop location to RR Nagar when he refused to drop.
He has alleged that following this an argument broke and the actress made false allegations against him and complained to the Ola team.
Garlani who took the Twitter platform to report the harassment said that she was travelling with three others in the car and were harassed early morning by the driver identified as Susay Mani.
She stated that the driver was not increasing the A/c from speed level one and all the four in the car were suffocating. Along with the tweet, she attached a screenshot of the complaint to the Ola team where she stated, “He (the cab driver) at first refused to on the A/c and was suffocating us… Charging us full money for the AC car, which also has a broken windshield.”
She further added that when he finally switched it on, he put it on level one and when she told kindly increase it, she alleged he threatened to offload them in the middle of the road.
She further stated,I have a big suitcase in the boot as I’m enroute to my shoot,and this man (driver) has completely ruined the aura of the day.
What are we supposed to do when you hire such inhuman people as drivers? Why are you charging us full money and offering us such damaged cars? I am a public figure, I can at least voice out…imagine the plight of normal women who travel daily?”.
RR Nagar police have taken the complaint and are investigating further.
