Affect on Tourism in covid situation

Coronavirus disease is an infectious disease and Coronavirus pandemic has changed complete lifestyle of people. It has influenced people’s lives and has created so many chaos around the world. As the world is facing an unprecedented global health, social and economic emergency with the COVID-19 pandemic, travel and tourism is among the most affected sectors with airplanes on the ground, hotels closed and travel restrictions put in place in virtually all countries around the world. After complete shutdown of countries for a year and even more than a year, mostly it has affected travel plans. Earlier people used to travel to different places and countries for educational as well as entertainment purposes. People tend to travel to get away from monotony of their life but now with covid in people’s life it is a complete different

scenario. With a decrease in tourism, it has a major effect on economy of so many countries. In order to keep each and every country safe, many countries are also now developing measures to build a more resilient tourism economy post COVID-19. These include preparing plans to support the sustainable recovery of tourism, promoting the digital transition and move to a greener tourism system, and rethinking tourism for the future. Together these approaches can revitalize the global tourism sector, harnessing its market creating power to support economies, create jobs and drive development outcomes that put people and their communities first.
