Prohibitory orders extended till September 27 in Bengaluru – Kamal Pant

Bengaluru City police Commissioner, Kamal Pant, on Monday said that the Prohibitory orders in the city have been extended till midnight of September 27.

While the night curfew will remain in force from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.The orders restrict assembly of more than four people will be restricted in public places and restrict activities and movement of vehicles except those which are permitted under the guidelines.

Public places like bus stands,metro stations, railway stations and airports are exempted from the order.

Any violations of this order will be dealt with under the Disaster Management Act, 2005, Karnataka Epidemic Diseases Act, 2020, and also under Section 188 of the IPC, the order said.

The State Executive Committee of State Disaster Management Authority has issued a detailed guidelines and subsequent extension to break chain of transmission of covid-19.

The guidelines issued for surveillance, containment and caution for the entire state including Bangalore city.
