Prohibitory orders in Bengaluru extended until 13th September as precaution against spread of COVID-19 – Kamal Pant

The City police Commissioner, Kamal Pant extended prohibitory orders till the midnight of September 13,besides night curfew in force  between 9 pm to 5 am.

Restricting assembly of more than four persons in public places.However bus stands,metro stations,Railway stations and airports are exempted from the order.

In his order Mr. Pant, said that though the number of covid-19 positive cases are coming down drastically, it is considered appropriate to impose certain restrictions to prevent danger to human life and health and also maintain public peace,he said.

Any violations of this order will be dealt under Disaster Management Act,Karnataka Epidemic Disease Act and also under section 188 of the  IPC, the order said.
