Three killed, as two bikes collide in Ramanagara

Three persons were killed after two bikes they were riding collided head on due to rash and negligent riding on Magadi road near Ramanagar on Saturday evening.

The deceased have been identified as Venkatesh, (33), Murthy, (31) and Raghu, (21), residents of Balageri village in Magadi. All are said to be daily wage labourers.

The impact of the accident was so high that the trio tosses in the air along with the bikes and crashed on the road from which they Sustained severe head injuries.The bikes also damaged badly .

The incident occurred around 9pm and Venkatesh and Murthy were riding one bike and Raghu was on another bike.They were passing Rayaradoddi village and were coming in the opposite direction.

Since both bikes over speeding the impact was so high and both vehicles were tossed in the air and three of them had head injuries.

None of them were wearing helmets and aged between 22 to 30 years and were riding bikes in reckless manner lost control when confronted with each other leading to head on collision

The Ramanagar traffic police who have been investigating the case found that they had gone for dinner at nearby Dhaba and the road has a sharp turn.We have taken statement of the eye witness for further investigation,the police officer added.
