Labourer assaulted and paralysed by two men for objecting teasing minor

A 49-year-old labourer was assaulted and rendered paralysed by two men after he objected them to teasing minor daughter in front of the house in Ayyappa nagar in KR Puram on Monday night.

The accused reigned kicks and punched on the victim Om Prakash who took objection to their misbehavior before fleeing the spot.

The accused even assaulted the minor daughter who had come to her father’s rescue .

Omprakash was later shifted to nearby hospital from their taken to Victoria hospital where the doctors confirmed internal bleeding and brain hemorrhage following which he had paralytic attack at his left side of the body.

police said,Amitha Kumar elder daughter of Om Prakash filed a complaint with the KR Puram police on Wednesday.

In her complaint,she said that her father and daughter aged 16 years were sitting outside the house at around 9 pm when the duo teased the daughter .

The landlord who was present when the incident took place instead of helping Omprakash helped the accused to flee the spot,Amitha Kumar said in her complaint.

The police have registered a case of assault, grievous hurt and outraging the modesty of woman against the accused and are investigating.
