Boiler explosion in Bengaluru food factory,two more died

The death toll rise to four in a food factory boiler explosion case as two more people who were hospitalised after the incident, succumbed to injuries on Tuesday, police said.

According to police, the business partner of M M Food Products and a woman employee died in the hospital on Tuesday.

Two more injured in boiler blast incident in MM food products on magadi road succumbed in the early hours.

With the death of Sachin,40 partner of the unit and Dhanalakshmi,45,total four died while Shanti another worker said to be critical.

Meanwhile police are searching for the owner of unit Vijay Mehta who is absconding.

On Monday Manish and Sourav had succumbed and the unit was damaged ehen boiler exploded.

This incident comes months after a man from Odisha succumbed to burn injuries due to an accidental fire in a Bengaluru godown in November 2020.

Bijay Singh was working at Rekha Chemical Godown in New Guddadahalli, near the Deepanjali Nagar Metro Station.

On November 10, 2020 a massive fire was reported in the godown which created panic among workers and residents of nearby areas. The Fire and Emergency Services personnel sent out 15 fire engines to contain the fire.
