Dr. BinishThomas will overlook the United Nations (UN) affiliated organization’s expansion in over 50 countries in the region. 

United nationas International Human Rights Council has appointed Dr. Binish Thomas as its Director for Africa region. Dr. BinishThomas will overlook the United Nations (UN) affiliated organization’s expansion in over 50 countries in the region.

“I am glad to be chosen for the Africa region. I always wanted to contribute to the community ever since I was a consulate member in Uganda. I am looking forward to focusing on massive health awareness in various countries. I hope to build better relationships between countries while protecting the rights of every citizen,” he said.

The newly appointed director is all set to enhance the health and education system which has been badly hit by the pandemic. In this new role, Dr. Binesh Thomas will actively work towards bringing human rights violations, including the rights of migrant workers, children, women and different genders, to the forefront. He is also entitled to build economic, demicratic, cultural and social relationships between Asia and Africa.

Dr. Binish Thomas was decorated various positions in Govt of India, ex coordinator for NCMEI, Director ICCR, South india Chairman for scouts and guides movement.
