Many supporting Zomato delivery boy took on twitter :

Deepika Narayan Bhardwaj,a Independent Journalist and activist said,I am happy that there’s an FIR from both sides now. We don’t know what happened and both are alleging assault by each other. If Hitesha actually hit Kamaraj first,he will get justice now as she will be punished.

If only Hiteshas FIR had remained, even if he was innocent,he wouldn’t have got any justice because the case would have only been closed. If Kamaraj is guilty, of course he will face punishment for assault and also filing counter case. So now we have to just wait and watch said Deepika Narayan Bhardwaj.

Actor and former Bigg Boss contestant Kamya Panjabi has sided with the Zomato delivery person who was accused of physical violence by a customer last week.

Kamya joins actors Parineeti Chopra and Rohit Roy in expressing their mistrust in the accuser’s claims.

On Sunday, she took to Twitter and wrote,”Well the eyes says it all… i feel #Kamraj the #ZomatoDeliveryGuy is innocent n i hope he gets justice @zomatoin @zomatocare @zomato. pls dont let him lose his job.”Kamya was responding to a side-by-side picture of the accuser, a Bengaluru-based social media influencer named Hitashee, and Kamaraj, the delivery person.

The woman,in a video posted on Instagram, had accused the delivery person of punching her and running away after an altercation about her delivery being delayed.

Kamaraj has denied the claims, and has said that the woman injured herself while trying to attack him.

“I don’t know for sure what went down between the zomato exec and the lady in question but unless he’s a fabulous actor, he’s not lying… I hope he gets justice and quick!” Rohit Roy tweeted.

Parineeti also tweeted about the incident on Sunday. She wrote,”Zomato India -PLEASE find and publicly report the truth..If the gentleman is innocent (and I believe he is),PLEASE help us penalise the woman in question. This is inhuman, shameful and heartbreaking .. Please let me know how I can help.. #ZomatoDeliveryGuy.”

Zomato has said that it has suspended Kamaraj, although it is paying for his legal fees,as well as for Hitashee’s medical expenses.Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal tweeted that the priority is for the ‘truth’ to prevail, and added that the delivery person has an outstanding 4.75 rating on the platform.

Senior IPS officer, Arun Bothra, took on twitter supporting Zomato delivery executive,he said in his tweets The #zomatodeliveryboy looks more truthful to me.He seems to have been wronged. However, I would prefer to wait for official investigation to end. There is a crowd here, led by self-appointed judges, who would kill if you speak a word away from their line. Remember SSR case?.

The main culprit is #Zomato in this case. They claims to offer food free on late delivery. If the delivery was late, they should have intimated the Delivery Boy forthwith. If you leave it ambiguous & expect him to settle with the customer the problem is bound to take place.

The lady may be lying but those having absolute faith in pics on social media should contact @Atheist_Krishna 😉.

I am considered to be a good investigator but they didn’t not teach me this skill of fixing guilt by looking at pics on social media.

Pl find some one better. There is no dearth of Sherlock Holmes here 😉 #ZomatoDeliveryGuy #zomatodeliveryboy Arun Bothra said in his series of tweets.
