Possible gang war averted by CCB arrested 20 dreaded criminals including two Rowdy-Sheeters in Bengaluru,sharp weapons seized:

The Central Crime Branch (CCB) police of Organized Crime Wing Sleuths on tuesday night conducted a special drive against rowdy elements and nabbed three gangs in Marathahalli,DJ Halli and in Ramamurthynagar police station limits.

With this the ccb not only averted the possible gang wars but also averted armed robberies the gang had planned in and around the city.

Commissioner of police,Kamal Pant,told media persons a credible information was received by our CCB officials of organized crime wing that around 11 persons who are armed with lethal and sharp weapons are hatching a plan for a possible gang war.

Based on information special teams were formed by Sandeep Patil,Joint commissioner of police Crime,and a team led by DCP Crime-2,BS Angadi,headed by ACPs,as,Parameshwar HS and Dharmendra HN and his teams swung into action and rushed to the spots and the teams carried simultaneously raids at 3 different places and nabbed around 20 rowdies who were armed with lethal weapons.

One of the gang arrested in Marathahalli had planned to attack and eliminate their rivals and rob them.

The arrested are identified as Harish S,27,of Anekal,Venkatesh P,27,Ganesh N,27,both of Marathahalli,Kiran Gowda,30,Vishwanath Bhandari,32,both from Dakshina Kannada,Satish S,27,Ganesh T,27,both from Vinobha Nagar, Hemanth L,28,Annamalai V, 29,both of Byatarayanapura,Vinod N,28,of New Binny Layout,Kiran Kumar,27,of Chamarajpet.

During investigation it was revealed that Kiran and Vishwanath notorious rowdies from Mangaluru had come to city on invitation from one of their friend to kill their rivals.

The duo along with their associates had come to city 20 days ago and watched the movements of their target when they were caught by CCB team they were armed with sharp weapons in their possession the team surrounded the area and nabbed all the accused and seized as many as 18 lethal weapons including a SUV and a car have been seized from them.

Another team conducted raids in Ramamurthynagar police station limits and arrested Manjunath,25,Mohan,23,Rahul,19 and a juvenile,all residents of areas surrounding Ramamurthynagar.During investigation the team got to know that they were waiting to rob the public and attack their rival gang on FCI Road.

Another team raided In DJ Halli police station limits and arrested Rowdy Mazhar Khan,38,and his associates Yogesh,38,Rizwan Pasha,26, Sumith,28,and Punith,30,all residents of DJ Halli and KG Halli.They were waiting to kill two of their enemies near the Parachute Regiment Training Centre ground.

With this in a quick and swift action,CCB officers prevented gang rivalry,attack and dacoity by the Rohit gang and Kadbisnahhi Soma gang.

During the raids the team has recovered Eighteen machetes and long swords and two vehicles seized,while two rowdy charge-sheeted persons from Mangaluru were also arrested during the operations.A case has been registered in concerned Jurisdiction police station limits and further investigation is on.

Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,Kamal Pant,has appreciated Joint CP Crime,Sandeep Patil,DCP Crime-2,BS Angadi,ACPs as, Dharmendra HN,Parameshwar HS,PIs,as,Girish Naik,Basavaraj A Teli,and other Inspectors and staff who has successfully nabbed all the dreaded criminals and averted possible gang war and dacoity.

Finally Kamal Pant,warned all the anti social elements by saying Any form of rowdyism or goondaism will not be tolerated.Appreciate the swift and timely action by CCB in apprehending 20 rowdy-sheeters of 4 rival gangs.18 machetes and 2 four-wheelers have been seized. Further investigation is underway and a suitable reward will be given to the team he added.
