Saudia Arabian National arrested for illegal stay in Bengaluru :

The Northeast Division police of Sampegehalli police on Sunday arrested a Saudi Arabian National for overstaying in Bengaluru City since 2013 illegally and also obatining Aadhar card and other ID cards to get indian passport.

The accused has been identified as,Osama Mohammed Dheeb residing in Hegdenagar.

Senior officer,told media persons,The Sampigehalli police received a tip off that a person in Hegdenagar who is said to be from Saudi Arabia is illegally staying since many years in the area.

Based on the information a police team visited the spot and during questioning it was found that the Saudi Arabia national was staying since 2013 and during search we found two passports got issued from Saudi Arabia which were expired along with Indian passport with similar name to claim Indian citizenship.

It was found that he was staying in city for many years and after his passport and visa expired he got Aadhar card,Voters ID and identity card from post office to apply for passport.He obtained the Indian passport in the year 2015.

A case has been registered in Sampigehalli police station against the accused and he has been booked under various sections of Foreigners Act and investigation is on to ascertain the purpose of his stay and how he obtained the passport and other ID cards he added.
