Sandalwood drugs case: Aditya Alva,Former Karnataka Minister’s Son arrested by CCB after absconding for months :

The Anti-Narcotics Wing of CCB on Monday arrested fugitive Aditya alva,son of former Karnataka minister,late Jeevraj,who was involved in drug case linked to kannada film industry and was on the run since September.

Sandeep Patil,Joint commissioner of police,Crime,told media persons a continuous search and inquiry was been conducted in the case a reliable inputs was received by PI,Puneeth as soon as he got information a special team was headed to Chennai and successfully nabbed the absconding accused.

The accused was arrested in Chennai from a Homestay in the early hours of monday.Aditya an A6 in the drug case registered in cottonpet police station went underground soon after his name cropped up during the course of investigation.

The CCB raided his house in Hebbal where he used to conduct drug parties.The CCB got issued lookout circular against him and even conducted raid at the residence of family members in Mumbai,but the police could not locate him.The police issued notice to family members and questioned the whereabouts.

The CCB officials now questioning Alva to ascertain how and why he escaped.The police, also analyzing his call record details and subjected him for medical examination we will produce him before the court and seek his custody to investigate further he added.

Except few the CCB officials arrested almost all the accused in the case.Few, days ago prime accused in the case,Shivaprakash alias Chippi, appeared before the CCB for questioning.The film producer and businessman is accused no.1 in the case he added.
