Police couple ended life after being depressed over not having a child even after ten years of their marriage.
The deceased Suresh,head constable working at Sampigehalli Assistant Commissioner office and his wife Sheela is working as woman constable at commissioner’s office both aged 37.
Sheela joined the police service in 2005 and Suresh in 2007.
Senior police officer,told reporters, that Suresh hails from Mulabagilur and Sheela from Kadur, they had love-cum-arrange marriage and they had married in 2010 and were living in a rented house in Nakshatra Layout under Kothanur police limits.
Duo were under depression for not having a child even after ten years of their marriage.
Officer further added that on Friday around 6.30 am,Suresh sent a message to his colleagues and his sister-in-law to come home as early as possible,when they reached his house, they found both hanging to the ceiling.
Both bodies were handed over to their family members after conducting postmortem he added .
