The Central Division police of Vyalikaval police,have cracked the murder case of lonely woman by arresting her husband and two others.The accused has been identified as,Nagendra Babu,39,Prashanth M,27,Jaganath alias jagga,27.The prime accused behind the murder is Nagendra Babu who is a husband of the deceased and two others are contract killers.The Vyalikaval cops,first arrested Prashanth who is a auto rickshaw driver and based on his statement they have arrested Jaganath and Nagendra Babu.
Nagendra Babu the prime accused is employed at a co-operative bank he has not only paid the contract killers but also allowed them to live in the building in the first floor of building as tenants,to monitor the movements of his wife.
Vinutha,34,year old was found dead at her home under mysterious circumstances in Vyalikaval police station limits.DCP Central,Chethan Singh Rathore,told media persons that,As on 21st December,A complaint was registered at the Vyalikaval police station.A 34-year old woman named Vinutha was murdered under mysterious circumstances.
Her parents tried calling her on 21st December and when Vinutha didn’t receive the call,her parents grew suspicious and visited her. It was a double door and was locked from inside.They tried to open but in vain.Vinutha’s parents peeped into the window and found their daughter lying unconscious.Immediately,they informed the cops and by the time our officers reached the spot,the woman was dead.The victim’s parents suspected that Vinutha’s husband could have killed her.
Vinutha’s husband is Narendra Babu.The couple had got married 13 years ago.For the past 6 years they had been on very bad terms.From 2013 the couple had been fighting and over 15 cases had been registered against each other at the vyalikaval police station.Vinutha’s parents have filed an FIR under IPC section 498 (A) and 306.We took Narendra babu in for questioning.
According to our preliminary investigation,it appears vinutha committed suicide or died accidentally.It seems like those who wanted to kill Vinutha planned the murder skillfully so that it appears like an accident or suicide.
While the team under ACP, T Basheer Ahmed,Vyalikaval inspector Yogendra Kumar,and his crime team picked Prashanth during investigation,it appeared like Vinutha’s neighbour,Prashanth might have killed her.During further interrogation,Prashanth was grilled and confessed that he along with Narendra Babu and Jagganath conspired to kill Vinutha.Now we have taken all the three into custody.
During interrogation we got to know that Narendra Babu paid 5 lakh rupees to prashanth to help him kill his wife.They entered the house through her bathroom window.When Vinutha came home,they hit her with a wooden plank. To make it look like an accident they placed a brick block under her head so that it would look like she slipped and fell.We have observed that there was an attempt to destroy evidence at the crime scene.They made sure that the crime scene looked like it was an accident.Also,none of them tried to flee.They also appeared whenever we summoned them for questioning.
During technical analysis,we got to know that these three men have killed Vinutha.We have taken all three into custody and when it was proved that these three men are responsible for her death,we have changed the IPC sections which we had booked.We are looking if there are others who are involved in the killing of Vinutha.
We are also looking for the murder weapon. Vyalikaval cops are still investigating the case and finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,Bhaskar Rao,Addl CP,west,Umesh Kumar,has appreciated,DCP,Central,Chethan Singh Rathore,ACP,Sheshadripuram Sub-Division,T Basheer Ahmed and Vyalikaval police inspector and his whole team for cracking the case within 48 hours he added.
