Union Minister of State for Environment, Forest and Climate change Shri Babul Supriyo visited hi-tech digital, interactive and multimedia exhibition-IFFI@50 organised by Bureau of Outreach and Communication and National Film Archives of India (NFAI) today.
Shri Babul Supriyo said that one get to know a lot about the history of films through this exhibition. “It is very nicely put together and good for students of cinema. The journey shown through a hi-tech interactive digital experience is noteworthy. The 360 degree immersive experience with three sided walls, zoetrope (technology of converting images into moving image experience), 50 camera bulletin shot experience, and other things make the exhibition very unique and interesting. The information has been put up in a highly presentable narrative. I complement the Information & Broadcasting ministry for such a wonderful exhibition,” he said.
IFFI@50 was conducted as a tribute to IFFI journey from its inception in 1952 till now. The aim of the exhibition is to show how IFFI helps to showcase Indian cinema to the world and also make India a platform where world cinema can be showcased.
