Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway

Under Bharatmala Pariyojana Phase-I approved by Government of India, connectivity from Bengaluru to Mysuru has been envisaged for development as Economic Corridor. The work for 6-lane of Bangalore-Nidagatta-Mysore road stretch has already been awarded in two packages in February, 2018. Physical progress of about 18% has been achieved in 6-lanework of Bangalore-Nidagatta section. The appointed date for work of 6-lane of Nidagatta-Mysore section has not been declared. As on date about 85% land acquisition has been completed with target for completion in December, 2019.

The total cost of the project is approximately Rs. 7,400 crore out of which an amount of about Rs. 2,270 has already been expended. The scheduled completion time for 6-laning of Bangalore-Nidagatta-Mysore road stretch is 30 months from the appointed date.
