Delhi, 14th June, 2019: Jab miya biwi razi toh kya karega kazi? This is exactly what Elaichi and Pancham are up to! Sony SAB’s favorite romantic comedy ‘Jijaji Chhath Per Hain’ will be finally revealing their biggest plot twist. With the previous year being full of ups and downs for the lovebirds, Pancham and Elaichi, are finally getting to a point in their love storywhere it has come to a full circle with a celebration of their wedding. To thank viewers for their support and all the love they have showered on the couple’s secret love affair and for supporting their decision to get married, the duo visited New Delhi for a quick meet and greet.
Fans have been waiting for just this moment of seeing the dynamic lead couple Elaichi played by Hiba Nawab and Pancham played by Nikhil Khurana get married. Since the beginning of the story in the show, even though Elaichi was aware about Pancham’s bachelor status she acted uninformed about it while he played a married man with his best friend disguised as his wife to secure a house on rent and a job at Elaichi’s father’s shop. Through the year, mischievous that Eliachi is, she kept on troubling and nudging Pancham by putting him in hilarious situation. Having a soft spot for him, she would also rescue him out of these situations.
Eventually, when Pancham’s unmarried status was out in front of Elaichi, they could express their true feelings and confess their love for each other. Now, the time has arrived for their happily ever after, but with too many hurdles at home and with their relationship being a big secret, they have decided to get secretly married!
The show has a riveting series of happenings with Elaichi’s father, Murari, being suspicious of their relationship – hiding their marriage was the only way to save their unconventional and very filmy liaison. Fans will witness some more rib-tickling situations as the newlyweds head back home and carry on with life while hiding this from Murari and Karuna, Elaichi’s parents. The episodes up ahead will be filled with exciting squabbles and interesting reactions.

Having all these fans supporting Elaichi and Pancham’s relationship was just amazing to me because they understand that true love is part of the characters’ dynamics and that makes the show all the more exciting!”
Nikhil Khurana, essaying the role of Pancham says: “I was super excited to visit Delhi, it feels like home.
