Final match of Girls Junior Inter District Championship played between Ahmedabad and Patan
District team at Gandhinagar. Final match was won by Patan District with the score of 2-0. Alkaben
Thakor scored 1 st goal in the 36 th minutes of the play and second goal was scored by Hetalben
Thakor in the 60 th minutes of the play. Patan team missed more than 10 goals scoring opportunity.
Shri C V Som (IAS) Principal Secretary GAD Gujarat State was the chief guest for the Prize
Distribution Ceremony, he presented Trophies and medals to the Winner and Runners team players
and officials. On the best performance by the Patan Girls team a Special award (Love of token)
given by Mr. Vijay Kachhy – Ex National players of Ahmedabad to Patan District team.
During this championship we have selected 30 players (probable) for the participation in the
forthcoming Junior National Championship to be held at Kolhapur Maharastra from 20 th April to 1 st
May 2019
