Gujarat: The 42nd BSF Inter-Frontier wrestling cluster 2018 today commenced at Sports Complex BSF Gandhinagar (Gujarat). Total 890 sportsmen from11 Frontiers of Eastern and Western command are taking part in various
events i.e. Wrestling, Boxing, Kabbaddi & Weight lifting of wrestling cluster
– 2018. The inter Frontier wrestling cluster competition of BORDER SECURITY FORCE aimedat preparing the sportsperson for the national and international level.
- 2. On27th Aug 2018, at 1715 hrs, Shri Ajay Kumar Tomar, IPS, Addl. DG (CID- Crime)Surat, Gujarat the Chief Guest declared the opening of BSF Inter Frontier wrestling cluster2018 in presence of Smt Sunaina Tomar, IAS, Principal Secretary of Ports and Transport, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, the Guest of Honor and under the chairmanship of Shri J S N D Prasad , DIG/PSO, BSF Gujarat Frontier in an impressive and colorful ceremony including impressive March Past by the teams, Fanfare, Band Salute & Cultural programme by BSF troops.
- 3. Today,01 event in weight lifting in 56 Kg category was organized and position obtained by players are as under: –
- i)Weightlifting – Ist Position- CT Mool Chand, Jammu Fro
IInd Position- CT T Hokib, Gujarat Frontier.
IIIrd Position- CT Koteresh M, Gujarat Frontier.
