Notorious Rowdy sheeter Shot and nabbed by K P Agrahara Cops :
The K.P. Agrahara police opened fire on a rowdy sheeter who attacked them, at Binny canteen in K.P.Agrahara in the wee hours of Sunday while trying to evade arrest.
The accused has been identified as Kiran alias Shashikiran alias Kirik,injured in the incident.
Kiran and his gang had attacked congress office and vandalised car windshields and other vehicles in cholarapalya on July 25th.
Incident took place at 12:45am near binny canteen.
Cops open fire after Kiran tried to attack head constable Nagarajappa who went to nab him.
Kiran has suffered bullet injury on his right leg and constable also is being treated at Victoria hospital.
DCP North,Chetan Singh Rathore,told media persons,as on 25th July we received a complaint that 5-6 miscreants on bikes have vandalised congress office and were breaking windshields of cars at Bhuvaneshwari layout in K P Agrahara police station limits we also received complaints that they were walking around scaring people with their knives and machets.Based on a complaint a special team was led by ACP,Parameshwara Hegde under the supervision of PI,S.S. Manju and his team swung into action and the inspector and his team were on lookout for this gang who has feared the residents of K P Agrahara and as on 28th July,In the wee hours of this morning inspector Manju of K P Agrahara police station received information that Kiran was seen near binny canteen near Railway bridge in KP Agrahara.immediately he and his staff rushed to spot near binny canteen where the rowdy sheeter was hiding as soon as he saw our cops he tried to escape and the inspector opened fire in air to warn him and asked him to surrender but then also he dint heed to him and tried to escape and our constable Nagarajappa tried to nab him and at the time of nabbing the accused attacked our constable with the sharp weapons to evade arrest and in self defense to protect our constable inspector shot the accused on his right leg.The cops decided to nab him.During the confrontation,kiran tried to hurl his weapon at a constable.That is when the inspector pulled out his service revolver and shot the rowdy sheeter in his right leg to neutralize him.Kiran was involved in murder,attempt to murder,and he was wanted in several other cases,a case has been registered in K P Agrahara police station and further investigation is on and efforts are on to arrest his associates who were seen in breaking windshields of car and finally Bengaluru Police commissioner,T.Suneel Kumar,Addl CP West,B.K.Singh,has appreciated DCPs as,Ravi.D.Channannavar,Chetan Singh Rathore,ACP,Parameshwara Hegde,PI,S.S.Manju,Constable Nagarajappa and his whole team has done a tremendous job by playing on their life he and his team has successfully arrested the notorious rowdy sheeter with his arrest the K P Agrahara residents can live happily without fear it is some sort of relief to the residents he added.
