Man arrested with country-made pistol,3 live cartridges seized by RMC Yard Police

The RMC Yard Police here on Monday arrested one person and seized a countrymade pistol and 3 live cartridges from his possession .
The accused was arrested while he was trying to sell the pistol near Prabhakar Convention hall on Tumakuru Road, under RMC Yard Police station limits.
The accused has been identified as  Bharath Singh,22,resident of Ramanagar and he hails from Madhya Pradesh.
Senior officer told,As on 5th February at around 3 pm a informant passed a credible information to RMC Yard Police station that some person is looking like suspicious and is trying to sell country-made pistol in Tumakuru Road as soon as the information was passed RMC Yard Police Sub-inspector Guruprasad and his crime staff rushed to the spot and noticed a person was trying to sell country-made pistol our team caught him red handed while he was trying to sell the country made pistol with 3 live cartridges has been seized from his possession and during interrogation he confessed the crime and said that he has bought the pistol two months back when he been to his native he has bought from their for Rs.20,000 and he was trying to sell the pistol for Rs. 50,000 to his clients to lead a lavish life he added.
DCP North Zone,Chethan Singh Rathore,told media persons that on 5th February at around 3 Pm, two of our police officers at RMC Yard Police station received a tip off from one of our informants about a man who was selling pistols the cops reached the spot and they nabbed him.The accused has been identified as Bharat,He is a resident of Madhya Pradesh.He has been staying in Bengaluru for the past 5 years and working as a Tile – Fitter.We have arrested him when he was looking to sell this Country-made Pistol he had even tried contacting a few people previously and now we have the information about who was buying the pistol from him.We have recovered a Pistol and 3 live bullets.We are investigating about its origin, the accused has been sent to judicial custody and we will take him into police custody to probe further a case under Arms Act has been registered in RMC Yard Police station and further investigation is on and finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner, T Suneel Kumar, has appreciated, Addl CP West, B K Singh, DCP North Zone,Chethan Singh Rathore and his team as ACP,Yeshwanthpur Sub Division,P Raviprasad,PI,Mohammed Mukhram,PSI,Guruprasad,and his crime staff as,ASI,Ramakrishna T R,Anil Kumar,Siddalinga Murthy,Raghavendra,and Umesh N P has been appreciated for successfully nabbing the accused and recovering the country-made pistol from him he added.
