n a swift action the Northeast Division police of Amruthahalli police track down three people from Kunigal and another from KIAL Airport and detected the case within 6 hours of the brutal murder of CEO and MD of a Aeronics media pvt ltd – broadband internet service provider firm in Amruthahalli on Tuesday.
Senior officer told reporters,The police team headed by DCP Northeast Laxmi Prasad and his team picked up three accused from Kunigal and were on the lookout for the owner of another internet firm based on their inputs the team arrested the alleged mastermind of the double murder from Airport and it was found that he got it executed through one of his employee over business rivalry.
On Tuesday at around 4 pm,Aeronics Media Private Limited,MD,Phanindra Subramanyam,36,and CEO Vinu Kumar, 47,were hacked to death by a gang of three armed men inside their office while around 10 staff members were mute spectators before fleeing from the backdoor of the office.
Based on the complaint,the police identified and special teams were formed who swung into action and track down the accused from Kunigal,identified as Shabarish alias Felix,27,from Devarachikkanahalli,and his associates Santosh,26,a resident of Marenhalli,on Bannerghatta Road,and Vinay Reddy,23,a resident of Roopena Agrahara.
The fourth accused who had hatched a murder plan identified as Arun Kumar,owner of G-Net,another broadband internet service provider in Bannerghatta,has also been arrested Efforts are on to ascertain the reason behind the act Laxmi Prasad, DCP, Northeast division,supervinig the investigations,said .
Probe revealed that the deceased Phanindra and Vinu Kumar working with Arun Kumar resigned from their jobs and came here to start Aeronics Media Pvt Ltd.
In November 22 the duo also poached around 10 employees of GNet.The firm soon started doing good in business and giving tough competition to Arun Kumar .
Infuriated Arun Kumar allegedly roped in his employee felix to do the hit job.Felix got his two associates offering them money and gained entry into the office on the pretext of seeking job.
During the interrogation,Felix tried to divert the investigation claiming that he eliminated the duo as they are interfering in his love life.
He also claimed that he worked for in G Net and sacked by Phanindra over some issue following which he killed him out of grudge.
The officer said,While there are big players like Act,Jio and Airtel,there are smaller companies trying to capture smaller markers and offer high-speed internet at attractive prices.
Based on the complaint by Shankara Narayan,senior sales manager of the company,the Amruthahalli police charged and booked the accused under murder and criminal conspiracy for further investigations.
Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,B Dayananda has appreciated Addl CP East,Raman Gupta,DCP Northeast,Laxmi Prasad BM,ACP,Rangappa T,PI, Guruprasad G,and his whole team has been appreciated for their excellent work and meticulous investigations which helped to solve the case within 11 hours and a suitable reward will be given to whole team he added.
