Abhijit Ray, Kolkata:A total of 15 people from Bengal were reaching the final stage of UPSC. Seven of them succeeded. All of them have received training from the Satyendranath Thakur Civil Service Study Centre run by the state government. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has hailed the impressive achievements of Chaitanya Khemani, Ishan Singh, Akanksha Jha, Mohammad Burhan Zaman, Priyanka Mondal and Saurabh Das.Banerjee has set up this Satyendranath Thakur Civil Service Study Centre for students of the state to open the doors of UPSC, the country’s most prestigious job examination. It was this government centre that enlightened the children of Bengal.
