Four-faced competition in MLC elections for graduates , campaigning to lead the general election
towards Uttarandhra , TDP campaigning loudly. PDF efforts to gain control.
Today, Visakhapatnam: All eyes are on Uttarandhra in the state’s graduate MLC elections. Although there are 37 people in the ring here, the competition is mainly between four people. Ahead of the general elections, all the main leaders of the main parties have entered the field and are campaigning in a competitive manner. Vaikapa leaders are moving for victory with power. In the wake of Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy’s announcement of administration from Visakhapatnam, MLC elections for graduates have become prestigious for that party. In the election to be held on 13th of this month, the main competition is between Vaikapa candidate, Brahmin Corporation Chairman Seethamraju Sudhakar, TDP candidate Vepada Chiranjeevi Rao, BJP candidate Madhav and Progressive Democratic Front (PDF) candidate Koredla Ramaprabha.
Campaigning beyond scope
Along with the votes of the employees and volunteers of the village and ward secretariat, the Vaikapa authority is moving forward to get other votes through them. Some are campaigning in violation of the election rules to please the government. AU VC held a meeting with the owners of private colleges and campaigned on behalf of Vaikapa candidate. There was a controversy when the staff of the secretariat went to a high school handing out pamphlets in Santabommali mandal of Srikakulam district along with Vaikapa leaders. Recently, the collector of Anandapuram MEO of Visakha district who violated the election code has been charged.

YV Subbareddy, regional coordinator of the party, is making strategies for Vaikapa’s victory in the MLC seat of Uttarandhra graduates. He met EPDCL CMD, Director and others in Visakha on Thursday. It is reported that Subbareddy is directly talking to the Inter Board RI, Tribal Corporation Chairman and HVODs of various departments on the cell phone. ‘I will take care of what you want. In the background of a four-way competition, the major parties have fielded their chief leaders. In Vizianagaram district, Deputy Speaker Kolagatla Weerabhadraswamy is campaigning in two and three divisions of the city every day. Minister Botsa Satyanarayana, regional coordinator YV Subbareddy and many other ministers are campaigning in Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam. TDP candidate, retired teacher Chiranjeevi Rao won in both teacher and student circles. Leaders such as TDP state leaders Chinarajappa, Bonda Umamaheswara Rao, Buddha Venkanna and Gadde Rammohana Rao have already campaigned on his behalf. Party state president Somu Veerraju, MP GVL Narasimha Rao and national secretary Sathya Kumar participated in the campaign in support of BJP candidate Madhav.
