A software engineer has been arrested for allegedly secretly recording videos of his woman landlord while she was bathing at her house in Bengaluru.
The incident was reported under the jurisdiction of the Begur Police Station.
Senior officer said the accused,identified as Manjunath, had been staying as a tenant in the house for the past five years.
On July 27,the woman noticed someone holding a mobile phone near the bathroom window while she was bathing,raising her suspicion.
To verify her suspicion,the woman checked CCTV footage from a neighbouring house.The footage allegedly showed Manjunath fleeing the spot immediately after the incident.
She then approached the Begur Police,who detained the accused and examined his mobile phone.
During the examination,police allegedly found multiple videos of the woman recorded while she was bathing.
A case has been registered,and the accused has been arrested.Police are continuing their investigation to ascertain whether any of the videos were shared or circulated.
