The Doddaballapur Rural Police have arrested 12 persons in connection with a violent attack at the premises of a private company in Doddaballapur,and launched a manhunt for the remaining accused.
According to police,the incident took place on July 26, 2026,at around 6 pm,when Anupam Kumar and his friend,Jyoti Chauhan,were allegedly confronted by three to four persons near Doddatumkur village within the jurisdiction of Doddaballapur Rural Police Station.

Following the altercation,the two left the spot in their car and reached the premises of Minimines Cleantech Solution Private Limited, where they were allegedly followed by the group.
Police said the complainant,Arvind Bharadwaj,arrived at the factory after learning about the incident.
Soon after,a group of around 30 to 40 persons allegedly gathered outside the company premises.
The mob allegedly damaged the window glass of Anupam Kumar’s car,entered the factory premises,and assaulted Bharadwaj with weapons including a long stick,a mace,sticks,and a knife.
Bharadwaj reportedly sustained bleeding injuries to the back of his head,right fist,and right leg.
Anupam Kumar also suffered bleeding injuries to his head and the right side of his body after being allegedly attacked with a knife,besides sustaining abrasions on his hands and other parts of his body.Several company employees also sustained minor injuries during the incident.
The complainant further alleged that the assailants assaulted Jyoti Chauhan,damaged the company’s CCTV cameras and monitor,vandalised the vehicle,and threatened the complainant and his family members with dire consequences.
Based on the complaint, the Doddaballapur Rural Police registered a case under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and initiated an investigation.
Police said 12 accused have been arrested and remanded to judicial custody. To trace and apprehend the remaining accused, three special teams have been constituted, and further investigation is underway.
