A 21-year-old woman was allegedly murdered by her husband following a domestic dispute and suspicion of an illicit relationship in Kulle Gowdanapalya under the limits of the Kaggalipura Police Station on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Sinchana (21).
The accused,her husband Renukaiah,is alleged to have killed her by smashing a stone on her head outside their house on Thursday.
According to preliminary investigation,Renukaiah frequently quarrelled with his wife suspecting her character.
On Friday as well,an argument reportedly broke out between the couple.In a fit of rage,he allegedly lifted a stone and brutally attacked her in front of their residence before fleeing the scene.
Upon receiving information,Kaggalipura police rushed to the spot, conducted a mahazar,and shifted the body for postmortem examination.
A case of murder has been registered,and we have arrested the absconding accused further investigation is in progress a senior officer said.
