Fresh allegations have surfaced in the Rs.100 crore CSR fund scam, with the complainant accusing a close associate of former minister Kimmane Rathnakar of involvement in the fraud.

Speaking to the media, complainant Yashodha alleged that Amarapalli Suresh, said to be a close aide of Kimmane Rathnakar and a native of Thirthahalli, played a key role in introducing the accused persons.

“We approached them seeking assistance for our college trust.Amarapalli Suresh told us he was close to former MLA Kimmane Rathnakar and assured us of help,”Yashodha stated.

According to her,Suresh introduced them to a Hyderabad-based individual named Venkataramana, who promised to arrange Rs.100 crore in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds from a reputed company.

The accused allegedly claimed that funds would be sourced from a prestigious corporate entity.

Yashodha further alleged that they were later introduced to a Shivajinagar-based textile trader, who was presented as a company representative.

Trusting these representations, the complainant said they paid Rs.35 lakh in phases for documentation and fund release processes.

However, the promised CSR funds were never released, and the accused allegedly stopped responding after receiving the money.

A complaint has been filed at the Hennur Police Station. The complainant claimed that despite approaching senior police officials,no arrests have been made so far.

Sources confirmed that a case has been registered and the investigation is ongoing.
