The death of a 22 year old youth in Bengaluru has sparked controversy, with his family alleging foul play.
The deceased, identified as Irfan,had visited a relative’s house in Bharathinagar. On January 30,he reportedly fell from the fourth floor of the residence near the bustling Fruits Market locality.
Though rushed to the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after the fall.
While the incident initially appeared to be an accidental fall,Irfan’s family suspects otherwise.
They allege that he may have been pushed from the balcony and have urged authorities to conduct a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
The Bharathinagar Police reached the spot and carried out an initial inquiry.A case of unnatural death has been registered.
“We are investigating all possible angles,including the family’s allegations of foul play.CCTV footage from the vicinity and statements from residents are being collected,”said a senior police officer.
