A 70-year-old security guard was bludgeoned to death by his friend over a drunken brawl at a farm house where he was working in Thalaghattapura on Sunday afternoon.
The deceased has been identified as Jailal,native of Nepal working in the farm house for the last one year.
Senior officer said Jailal and the accused aged 28 years, also working in the same farm were drunk and fought over a trivial row .
The accused picked up a pan after heated argument and attacked Jailal.He sustained severe head injuries and succumbed .
The others workers who visited the farm later found Jailal in a pool of blood and alerted the police.
The police track down the accused and taken him into custody for questioning to ascertain the exact reason for the murder.
